Stainless Steel Coil Tube — Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) Final Rinse & Nitrogen Blow-Dry Treatment

Product Overview

Wenzhou Jixing Metal Materials Co., Ltd. (Product No. 69) offers precision-engineered stainless steel coil tubes subjected to a state-of-the-art Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) Final Rinse process, finishing at 18.2 MΩ·cm resistivity with nitrogen blow-dry. This advanced internal surface treatment represents the final critical step in the manufacturing sequence for tubing destined for the most demanding semiconductor fabrication and biopharmaceutical applications, where even trace particulate or ionic contamination can compromise process integrity and yield.

The internal surface of the coil tube undergoes a multi-stage passivation and purification protocol, culminating in the 18.2 MΩ·cm UPW rinse — the highest purity standard achievable in aqueous solutions. Following the rinse, a controlled nitrogen blow-dry ensures zero water spotting, zero organic residue, and an impeccably clean internal bore ready for immediate installation.

Manufacturing Process

  1. Tube Forming & Coiling: Precision cold-rolled or seamless stainless steel tubing is formed into continuous coil spools with tight dimensional tolerances.
  2. Mechanical Cleaning & Pickling: The internal bore undergoes mechanical brushing and acid pickling to remove scale, oxides, and manufacturing residues.
  3. Electrochemical Polishing (ECP): The interior surface is electropolished to achieve a smooth, corrosion-resistant, and low-particulate-release finish (Ra ≤ 0.05 µm).
  4. Multi-Stage Deionized Water Rinse: Progressive DI water rinses (escalating resistivity) remove residual ions and polishing agents from the bore.
  5. 18.2 MΩ·cm UPW Final Rinse: The tube interior is flushed with ultra-pure water at 18.2 MΩ·cm resistivity, passing through 0.05 µm membrane filtration to eliminate sub-micron particulates. This step ensures zero ionic contamination and is the hallmark of semiconductor-grade and biopharmaceutical-grade tubing.
  6. UHP Nitrogen Blow-Dry: Ultra-high-purity nitrogen (99.999%+) is blown through the internal bore at controlled pressure and temperature to achieve complete evaporation of residual water without introducing any new contaminants. The nitrogen blanket also prevents re-contamination during packaging.
  7. Sealing & Packaging: Coil tube ends are sealed with UHP-rated end caps or vacuum-sealed bags to maintain the nitrogen-blanketed, contamination-free interior until the point of installation.

Unique Selling Points

18.2 MΩ·cm UPW Final Rinse + Nitrogen Blow-Dry — This dual-step finishing protocol, performed as the absolute last process before packaging, guarantees an internal surface free of ionic contamination, water spots, and organic residues. No competitor's standard rinse-and-dry process can match the purity assurance of a dedicated 18.2 MΩ·cm UPW flush followed by UHP nitrogen drying.
